Gas sources
A process shaped by gas composition.
Biogas, natural gas and shale gas require different conditioning and integration scopes. They are not interchangeable feeds.
Biogas
Biogas from organic wastewater and residues can be conditioned, desulfurised and upgraded into a methane-rich stream. Downstream compression or methanol integration is selected around the intended product.
Natural gas
Review moisture, sulfur compounds, carbon dioxide and other contaminants against the required product-gas specification. BIOZOOM’s relevant scope covers process conditioning and modular equipment integration as agreed for the project.
Shale gas
Variable gas composition calls for feed analysis and a defined treatment duty. Evaluate gas conditioning, separation interfaces and the suitability of a distributed fuel-conversion route before specifying equipment.
Product pathways
Define the route to market.
Bio-CNG
Upgrade biogas to biomethane, then compress it for the specified storage, transport or end-use arrangement.
Explore compressionBio-LNG
Combine appropriately upgraded biomethane with a project-specific liquefaction and storage system. BIOZOOM’s gas-treatment scope and downstream supplier interfaces are defined during engineering.
Explore gas upgradingGreen methanol
Integrate gas preparation, reforming, synthesis and refining in a distributed modular plant. Renewable status depends on the feedstock, energy supply and applicable certification requirements; fossil natural or shale gas is not automatically renewable.
